Emily Eidman is a New York City-based actor with a particular love for dark comedy, complicated women, and characters who might be a little more dangerous than they first appear.
Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, Emily grew up between the Midwest and the Bay Area before making her way to New York. She gravitates toward sharp, character-driven stories with a little bite and roles that allow her to balance humor, vulnerability, and an unexpected edge.
Emily is trained in stage combat and holds a black belt in karate, bringing a strong physical vocabulary to her work and a love for storytelling. Ironically, when she isn’t learning how to safely hurt people for a living, she can usually be found practicing yoga and attempting to cultivate inner peace.
When not performing, Emily can also be found drinking an unreasonable amount of boba, dabbling in comedy, and remaining, for the most part, peaceful.
